Aubrey G. Costello is a queer, autistic fashion designer, costumer, and theoretician based in Northwest Arkansas. They have a passion for all forms of storytelling through clothing, be it theatre, dance, high fashion, or historical interpretation
Aubrey was born and raised in the Ozark Mountains and learned to sew from a young age from their mother, who in turn learned from her mother. Besides their homeland of Arkansas, Aubrey has also lived and worked in Helsinki, Finland. Aubrey's work is informed by their neurodivergence, trans identity, and commitment to sustainability. Aubrey was an Honors College Fellow at the University of Arkansas, where they graduated in 2018 with a degree in Apparel Merchandising and Product Development.
